Important Information for Parents:

The camp day begins at 9:00AM and ends at 4:30PM

•  Campers bring a bag lunch each day (snack will be provided)

•  Check in and out with your child’s counselor in our large meeting area to the left as you enter the building.

•  For 1/2 day campers, the day ends at 1:10 (after lunch) Pick up will be in the Lobby.

 The daily camp schedule is posted in the Lobby along with other information for parents.

Early and Late Care is available each day beginning at 7:30am ending at 6:00pm the cost is $10. for each.  Pre-registration is NOT required. Provide a note to your counselor so we know that you will not be picking up your child at regular dismissal. Payment may be made at the T-shirt table.
 

It is important to check your child for ticks everyday.

Tie Dye:
Bring a 100% cotton T Shirt to dye
Dutchess Arts Camp T-shirts are for sale in the lobby
     $10.00 all sizes, 100% cotton.
 Take home “THE NOTE” instructions for care and finishing Tie Dye.

Wednesday: Bluebirds, Minions, Dragons

3:00 PM GALLERY EXHIBIT: Please take time to enjoy the artwork created by all DAC Campers. Following our gallery opening “It’s Show Time!” Join us in the James Earl Jones Theater for performances.

Stop Action Animation with Abby

During our Rainforest Retreat at DAC, campers in Sam's Dragons, Cara's Minions and Alexis' Colorful Stars created short animated videos!

Campers had fun using their imagination to create the stories, creating the sets and characters. They filmed using iPod, iPhone, or iPad with free or inexpensive apps.

Spotlight on Terri's Turtles

Terri Wanamaker has been leading our youngest campers at Dutchess Arts Camp for many years. 

Terri has more than 25 years of  experience teaching young children-from teaching daycare to teaching in public and Catholic schools in the area.  Currently she is the program director of Little Tikes Day Care Center.  She is also a licensed Kindermusik Educator.  Terri's current goal is to offer more Kindermusik classes to families at  Little Tikes.  When she is not working Terri enjoys gardening, crafting, scrapbooking, writing and activities that include spending time with her family and friends. 

Each year Terri has made memory books with her group, filled with photos of what happened each day at camp. This year she's going virtual by posting to the Dutchess Arts Camp Flcker Page. Now family members from far away can see how much fum we have a camp! Check it out!

• We go outside most days unless it's raining. Please send sunscreen.

• It's important to check your child for ticks everyday.
